It's been unseasonably warm here, and I managed to get out into the allotment in a t-shirt to plant some sweet peas and garden peas. Our rhubarb has gone bananas, and the potatoes and onions are all looking pretty good. Sadly, so is the grass, which has taken over a bit. Any hints or tips for controlling unruly tussocks gladly received!
It was glorious weather at Wonderwool Wales as well, which happened at the end of April. It was a fantastic weekend, and so many products went down well, so I'm sharing what was popular, as I've refreshed the stock for lots of it.
I've also got a delightful new limited edition spindle and some handy new spinning tools. First up, though - the yarn!
This was an absolute winner at Wonderwool, and I'm not surprised. It's soft, drapey, dyes up like a dream and once you've squished it, you'll be in love. I've added some fresh colours for summer, and I'll be bringing it to The Big Flock at the end of May. If you can't wait until them, go and check out what's available! These are just three of the colours on offer.
First up, I've set it up so that if you buy three or more spindles at a time, a 15% discount will automatically be applied at checkout. Perfect if you want to buy them as gifts for your spinning friends (as just as extra spindles for your own stash).
I've been busy with my 3D printer, which is probably my favourite purchase of the last five years, and I'm really happy to say I now have available a whole range of rather spiffy tools for spinners. Behold....
I've got one last thing to show you before I let you go and get on with your day... check out these little cuties! I'm wearing a pair of the mixed studs (lime green) right now, and I love them.
Have a wonderful week, and if I don't see you at Big Flock, I'll update you with more lovely fibre, yarn and spinning goodness next month!
